What to Know About Priscilla Presley's 2 Kids, Lisa Marie and Navarone

Priscilla Presley entered the public eye when she dated and married Elvis Presley, whom she met in 1959 and married in 1967. Born in 1945 to a military family, Priscilla moved around the United States before arriving in West Germany, where she met Elvis.

The pair's only child together, Lisa Marie, was born in 1968. Priscilla recalled seeing her for the first time after her birth in her memoir, "Elvis and Me" — which has been adapted into a movie titled "Priscilla." "The nurse brought [Lisa Marie] into my room and I cradled her in my arms. She was so tiny, so beautiful," Priscilla wrote in her book, per Us Weekly. "Elvis came into the room and kissed me, thrilled that we had had a perfectly normal, healthy baby. Then he took us both in his arms and held us."

Lisa Marie spent her first few years in Graceland with her parents, but Priscilla and Elvis divorced in 1973. Per the BBC, Lisa Marie moved with her mom to Los Angeles, visiting her father in Memphis regularly until his death in 1977. In 1987, Priscilla gave birth to a son, Navarone Garibaldi Garcia, whom she shares with film producer Marco Garibaldi. Per People, Garcia no longer has a relationship with his father, but he and Priscilla have remained close through the years.

Lisa Marie Presley

Lisa Marie Presley was born on Feb. 1, 1968, to Elvis and Priscilla. Her parents were married from 1967 to 1973, and Elvis died of a presumed heart attack in 1977 when Lisa Marie was just 9 years old.

Lisa Marie went on to follow in her dad's footsteps as a musician and also retained ownership of her father's estate, Graceland. She was married to Chicago-born musician Danny Keough from 1988 to 1994. The pair share two children, actor Riley Keough and son Benjamin Storm Keough, who died of suicide in 2020.

She went on to marry Michael Jackson in 1994. The pair were together through 1996. Lisa Marie was also married to Nicolas Cage from 2002 to 2004 and to Michael Lockwood from 2008 to 2021. She and Lockwood gave birth to twins, Harper Vivienne Ann Lockwood and Finley Aaron Love Lockwood, in 2008.

Lisa Marie attended many events with her mom in 2022 to promote Baz Luhrmann's "Elvis" movie, including the 2023 Golden Globe Awards, where she saw "Elvis" star Austin Butler take home his first award. It was her last public appearance.

On Jan. 12, 2023, Lisa Marie suffered cardiac arrest and was rushed to the hospital, where she later died. Per ABC News, her death was the result of a small bowel obstruction, according to an autopsy report. Lisa Marie was interred next to her brother and father in Graceland's Meditation Garden. Following her death, according to CBS News, Priscilla contested her daughter's will, which named her two children, Riley and Benjamin, as co-trustees while removing Priscilla and her former business manager Barry Siegel. But a settlement was reached in May and approved by a Los Angeles judge in October, per CNN.

Nine months after Lisa Marie's death, Priscilla opened up about her grief and the "unbearable" loss during an emotional interview with the UK's "Piers Morgan Uncensored. "It's like a large part of your life is taken away," she said, per The Sun. According to Priscilla, Lisa Marie seemed to fall ill the night of the Golden Globes. "She didn't look well that night, and I was concerned," she recalled. "She asked Jerry Schilling, one of my best friends, if he could hold her. Her heels were high, but she had worn them before, and I thought 'is she OK?' She didn't really look that OK, she looked very frail."

Things only seemed to worsen from there, as two days later, Priscilla got a call from Lisa Marie's ex-husband saying she'd been rushed to the hospital. By the time Priscilla got there, it was too late. "It was unbearable," she said. "I lost my mother, I lost my grandson, and I lost my daughter. It's still shocking that we don't have her.""

Navarone Garibaldi Garcia

Priscilla gave birth to her son, Navarone Garibaldi Garcia, on March 1, 1987. She met his father, film producer Marco Garibaldi, in 1982, and they dated until separating in 2006, per Us Weekly. Garcia said he did not grow up living lavishly off Elvis's estate.

When he turned 18, he decided to move to Los Angeles to pursue a music career. "It was an escape. It was a fresh start," Garcia told People in a Feb. 1 cover story, breaking his silence after being relatively quiet over the years. He said he took drugs as a teen, leading to an ongoing struggle with addiction. But, per the interview, he managed to get clean in 2020, partly so he could visit his wife, Elisa Achilli, during the pandemic. The two married in Switzerland in February 2022 after four years of dating.

In the interview, Garcia revealed that Elvis's music was banned from his home growing up, mostly due to his father. "I think my dad had a bit of a complex about it," he said. "It wasn't until after he left that my mom started playing his music again freely."

Garcia also shared that in 2017, he discovered his father, Marco, was Brazilian, not Italian like he originally thought, and his actual last name was Garcia. He wound up confronting his father, who had always claimed he was from a wealthy Italian family, and the pair became estranged. Garcia eventually flew to Brazil to meet his real extended family. "I lost one family member, but I gained 20-plus," he told People. "I have zero regrets."

Garcia shared a love for music with Lisa Marie, though he apparently wasn't that close with his half-sister. Still, Garcia commemorated her in an emotional Instagram post shortly after her death. "Big sister . . . i hope you are now at peace and happy with your Dad and your son by your side," he wrote. "I know the past couple years weren't easy for you, and I wish things had been different between us. Regardless, you are my sister and I'm sending love and prayers for your journey home. I still can't believe this, I'm lost for words. Love you sis. Beijos. 💔."

Garcia told People he felt the need to support his mother in the wake of Lisa Marie's death and planned on taking her to Brazil later in the year. He said, "I think she needs a reminder of how nice it is."

Today, the 36-year-old musician fronts LA-based rock band Them Guns, who released a new single called "Acid Plane" on Feb. 2. According to his People interview, Garcia plans on eventually moving to Brazil and embarking on an international tour with his group.
