Regina King is keeping up with tradition! After Dan Levy left a sweet note for her [2] in her dressing room when she hosted Saturday Night Live [3] last week, the 50-year-old star passed on the lovely gesture to Regé-Jean Page during his hosting debut [4] on Feb. 20, for which he was outfitted in Alexander McQueen [5]. The 31-year-old Bridgerton actor [6] shared a photo of said note on his Instagram Stories prior to taking the stage.
The sticky note read, "Regé-Jean, you got next and you are going to be amazing!!! I'm a big fan." Regé-Jean captioned the snap, "Thank you @iamreginaking. The feeling is very mutual." Aw!
Well, it's fair to say that Regina was right. Not only did Regé-Jean totally nail all of his sketches [7], but he and the rest of the SNL cast had Olivia Rodrigo [8] "shaking" with their hilarious "Drivers License [9]" skit. So, how long do we have to wait until Regé-Jean can host SNL again?
