Simone Biles may be miles away in Tokyo preparing for the Olympics, but she still made sure to wish her boyfriend, Jonathan Owens, a happy birthday. On Thursday, the 24-year-old gymnast shared a heartfelt tribute for her beau on Instagram. "Here in Japan it is already my favorite persons birthday 🖤 HAPPY 26th BIRTHDAY BABE," she captioned the post. "@jowens_3 I love you so much. Can't wait to celebrate you when I get home! thanks for keeping me sane during the craziest times. an ear to vent too, someone to share fun times with and make the best of memories 🖤 not sure how I got so lucky & what I'd do without you! As if her caption wasn't cute enough, she also made sure to include a gallery of some of their cutest moments together.

The duo have certainly been making us swoon with their adorable couple moments [2] as of late. During her cover story with WSJ. Magazine, Simone opened up about how their sweet romance came to be [3], admitting that she actually slid into Jonathan's DMs. "I saw him and I was like, 'Oh, he's pretty cute,' so I said hi . . . and then I saw that he was in the Houston area, so we started chatting a little bit, and then we went to hang out a week or two later." We're sure Jonathan will have an equally sweet post about Simone when she competes in the Olympics [4] later this month.
