"THE EASIEST YES," the 24-year-old Olympian wrote on Instagram [3]. "I can't wait to spend forever & ever with you, you're everything I dreamed of and more! let's get married FIANCÉ."

Owens also shared their photos on his Instagram, writing in a caption [4], "Woke up this morning with a fiancée 💍❤️." He also revealed Biles "really had no clue what was coming," and thanked his friends for helping him set up the surprise.

Two days after announcing their engagement, the couple shared a video of the proposal on Instagram, giving us a look at how the evening went. "Behind the scenes of the special night✨," Owens captioned his post [5]. "Im so excited to begin this journey with you baby, you know I'm with you every step of the way." Biles also shared a sweet caption [6] for the video on her page, writing, "I can't wait for this new chapter of life with you, I'm honored to be your future wife 🤍 I love you so much Jonathan James Owens!"
