Vanessa Hudgens [1] and her MLB player boyfriend, Cole Tucker, are engaged! Following multiple reports [2], the couple officially confirmed the exciting news in a joint Instagram post on Feb. 9, six days after the news first broke. "YES. During her appearance on the "Today" show on April 14, Hudgens further opened up about her engagement to Tucker, saying, "It feels amazing." She added, "There's a sense of security and you feel so safe. It's the best thing ever. I love being a fiancée." Hudgens also revealed that she knew Tucker was the one after their first weekend together. "I called my sister and I was like, 'I think I just found my future husband.'"
Hudgens and Tucker have been dating since December 2020 [5], as they made things official one month after sparking romance rumors. The couple went public with their relationship [6] in February 2021 when Hudgens — who was last linked to ex-boyfriend Austin Butler [7] — posted a PDA-filled photo of the two sharing a kiss on Instagram in honor of Valentine's Day. "It's you, it's me, it's us. @cotuck ❤️💋🤟🏽," she captioned the post [8].
Since then, the pair have shared glimpses of their love [9] on social media and been seen together out and about at A-list events, including the 2022 SAG Awards and the Los Angeles premiere of Hudgens's 2021 movie, "Tick, Tick... Boom!" Over the course of their two-plus-year courtship, the couple have also traveled the world together, spent the holidays with their families, and supported each other's careers. Now it looks as though they'll continue building a future together.
