Season two of 13 Reasons Why [1] is almost here. In fact, it premieres this month [2] — on May 18 — and there are a lot of things that we already have questions about.
After Netflix revealed its season two trailer [3] and teased that instead of 13 cassette tape clues [4], it will focus on Polaroids and pictures to help [5] "uncover a sickening secret and a conspiracy to cover it up," we need answers ASAP! Throughout the new trailer for the highly anticipated second season of the teen drama, it becomes clear that Hannah Baker's (Katherine Langford) story isn't over.
While season one looks at the clues as to why she died by suicide, season two will focus on the aftermath of her death and how her classmates and family members continue to be affected by it. Plus, the Baker family is going to court, which means the tale of their daughter and her tragic road to suicide will continue to haunt the town.
Who else will be on the hot seat this season, and which characters are already on our radar? Well, a lot of them, actually, like Clay Jensen (played by Dylan Minnette [6]) who continues to feel the pressures of unraveling Hannah's story.

Tony and Ryan
Look who's riding shotgun in Tony's car . . . Ryan! This joyride could mean that Ryan and Tony become even better friends this season. Plus, it looks like Tony isn't exactly over Hannah's tapes, even with the Polaroid clues this time around.
Greetings From Oakland
What is Jessica doing with an Oakland postcard on her desk? We know the show takes place in the Bay Area, but Oakland isn't where these teens live, so maybe it's a hint at a new location or the location of a new character in Jessica's life.
Mr. Porter and Bryce
It looks like Mr. Porter (Derek Luke) has a few suspicions about Bryce as well, and we're rooting for him to take him down once and for all.
The Investigation
Mrs. Baker (Kate Walsh [9]) is still on the hunt for anyone involved in Hannah's eventual suicide, and she's going to make a splash with this trial. Based on her board, Alex and Bryce are on her mind, and even more of Hannah's classmates have connections to one another.
The Court Summons
In addition to seeing Clay wearing a nice suit and tie in the teaser, you can see a jury summons on his bed. This could only mean that the Baker's trial is going to include a statement from Hannah's crush, and it's not going to be easy.
