Big news in the TV world! ABC has ordered an additional two episodes each [1] from Grey's Anatomy [2], Modern Family, The Middle, Black-ish [3], and The Goldbergs, bringing their totals up to 24 episodes this season. Castle and Resurrection are also getting one extra episode each, and Once Upon a Time will air a special, supersized two-hour episode this November. It's not surprising to hear that ABC wants more of its veteran breadwinners like Grey's Anatomy and Modern Family, but it's nice to hear that after ordering a full season of Black-ish [4], it wants to see even more!
