Are you ready for the end of the world [1]? The first teaser for American Horror Story: Apocalypse [2] just dropped, and it's incredibly bleak. Set to "Devil's Playground" by The Rigs [3], the clip starts with a fetus growing inside an hourglass-shaped womb (a nod to Michael Langdon, perhaps? [4]) before a series of disturbing images — including an atomic bomb and a person's face melting to black liquid — flash before the screen signaling the end of life as we know it. Not to mention, there are a few references to AHS: Murder House and AHS: Coven throughout. With the new teaser and the recent confirmation that Jessica Lange will be returning this season [5], we can already tell that season eight is going to be one crazy ride!
