The trailer for American Sniper, Clint Eastwood [1]'s latest directorial effort, is here, with Bradley Cooper [2] as a man with what seems to be the most stressful job ever. As Navy SEAL Chris Kyle (who wrote the memoir that the movie is based on [3]), Cooper is "the most lethal sniper in US military history," and the trailer puts you in his shoes immediately, showing you a typical mission in which he must decide to kill a woman and child who might be a threat. At the same time, we see footage of Kyle's life back at home, which consists of a wife (Sienna Miller [4]) and child. It's touching and stressful at the same time, and in Eastwood's hands, this seems like a clear-cut Oscar contender. American Sniper comes out Christmas Day, and you can watch the trailer now.
