I agree that Russell Brand has a witty, spontaneous humor that is the hallmark of all good comics. And it translates well to the big screen. Yet, he just hasn't caught on. I think it's because he is so extremely unpleasant to look at. I'm not talking ugly, because ugly has rarely gotten in the way of humor. He just looks so unkempt giving off the impression that he smells. And that smirk. It's very off putting. This will be another miss.
