dgirl1991's Summer Netflix Challenge: Audrey Hepburn

BuzzSugar Community user dgirl1991 submitted the following post to the Summer Netflix Challenge group.

This summer I'm finally going to watch those iconic movies every cinema-loving girl talks about — the ones with Audrey Hepburn, of course! Just one actress on my personal list of shame, I'm almost 19 and I've never seen Breakfast at Tiffany's or Roman Holiday. I'm excited to discover potential new favorites, but aside from the obvious ones, are there any A.H. movies that should be on my much watch list?

I think I might add Audrey's movies to my list. I'd also like to see some Brando, James Dean, and Monroe movies, never seen a whole movie of any of theirs, well I saw Island of Dr Moreau but that doesn't really count, I'd like to see Brando's early work.

I've only seen a Roman Holiday and since I was in Rome at the time, it made the trip even more special. I absolutely loved the movie. Going to do exactly as you are and put the classic Hepburn movies on my list and well as Katherine Hepburn. I just got to tell my fiance to add the movies to his Netflix que! lol

The Nun's Story, Two for the Road, Robin & Marion - I'd sit through Always for her part. I met her once - she was lovely.

Breakfast at TIffany's is SO overrated. I'm a huuuge classic hollywood and Audrey fan, you MUST see "Charade", its the best Hitchcock film Hitchcock never made! Great mystery, also has Cary Grant, James Couburn and Walter Matthau in it. Another beautiful one is "Two For The Road", which is filmed European/French style so it's often over looked. Both are scored by Henry Mancini (Pink Panther- the BEST composer ever), so they have that great 1960's/easy-listening feel.

Funny Face, Sabrina, The Nun's Story, The Children's Hour and My Fair Lady are all favorites of mine. My Fair Lady is my favorite Audrey Hepburn movie aside from Roman Holiday. I don't suggest Paris When It Sizzles and The Laughing Hour.

Breakfast is one of my all time favs, but be prepared to cringe every time that Mickey Rooney comes on as Mr. Yunioshi. I would LOVE to buy a copy of this movie that that awful part taken out! And I'll second that Sabrina is wonderful.
