With each passing day, we inch just a little bit closer to the April 27 premiere [1] of Avengers: Infinity War [2]. Luckily, there's plenty to obsess over in the meantime: the epic trailer [3], the theory that Iron Man might die [4] (which better be a joke), and supervillain Thanos's new look [5], for starters. Oh, and there are also a handful of pretty exciting photos from the movie that Marvel has graciously released onto the internet for our viewing pleasure. Read ahead to check them out!

The Guardians of the Galaxy squad is ready for action.
Mantis (Pom Klementieff) [9] and Rocket (Bradley Cooper [10]) give Thor (Chris Hemsworth) an extra close look.
Thanos (Josh Brolin) [11] (and his bizarre chin folds) looks even more menacing than usual. He also looks vaguely like Homer Simpson [12], but that's neither here nor there.
The new spidey suit seems to be working out well for Peter Parker (Tom Holland [13]).
So we've got Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo [15]), a disembodied Iron Man hand, and what looks like Wakanda in the background — what does it all mean?!
We hereby humbly request that Captain America (Chris Evans) always have a beard from now on.
The same goes for Thor.
Apparently this is the scene where this battle-ready Iron Man suit loses an arm.
Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) will link up with Bruce Banner, Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), and Wong (Benedict Wong) in New York City.
The love connection between Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany [16]) is still going strong. He's practically glowing! (Lol)
Falcon (Anthony Mackie) flies into action over a Wakanda battlefield. Those crocodile/alien-like creatures are pretty terrifying, no?
Nothing strange to see here, move along.
If Iron Man does die like some fans think he will, we have no doubt he'll go down fighting.
And we have a feeling the person (humanoid godlike wraith?) he'll be going up against is Thanos and his glove of Infinity Stones [17].
