Can we just take a minute to appreciate the sheer amount of talent in the outstanding actor in a comedy category [5] at the Emmys? From Anthony Anderson's performance in Black-ish to Larry David's role in Curb Your Enthusiasm, there wasn't a bad choice in the bunch. In the end, Bill Hader was victorious, picking up a statue for his role as Barry Berkman in HBO's dark comedy Barry. "I was taught there that you should always make people look good, so what I did was hire a bunch of great actors to make me look good," he joked with the audience. "I share this with the cast. All of you, thank you so, so much." Watch his speech above, and then check out the rest of the night's lucky winners [6].
