Dec 25 2018 - 1:40pm

It's one of the most popular and quotable teen movies of all time: Bring It On [1]. Not only was it part of a truly generation-defining set of teen comedies [2] in the early 2000s, but it also spawned a long-running series of sequels and spinoffs that just kept going. (And it's still going as recently as 2017 with Bring It On [3]: Worldwide Cheersmack.) The movie even got a shout-out [4] in Ariana Grande [5]'s "Thank U, Next" music video [6]!

We know you can probably quote all of the movie's most memorable lines, but how much do you know about the actors' careers after Bring It On? Some of the stars went on to prolific careers and have become bona fide icons [7], while others have faded into the background of showbiz. Read on to see what your favorite stars are up to these days!

Kirsten Dunst as Torrance

Kirsten Dunst Now

Following the success of Bring It On [8], Dunst began a long-lasting and successful film career. She starred in everything from superhero films (Spider-Man) to period dramas (Marie Antoinette) to indies (Melancholia). In recent years, she's appeared on prestige TV series such as Fargo, and she's making her directorial debut with the upcoming adaptation of The Bell Jar. Dunst holds dual citizenship in the US and Germany and has a son with fiancé Jesse Plemons.

Eliza Dushku as Missy

Dushku's post-Bring It On [9] career varied widely, including work on the big screen, on stage, and even voicing video games. Her most notable role was in the cult-favorite sci-fi series Dollhouse, on which she played the lead, Echo. Dushku continues to do voice work and guest-star on TV series such as Agents of SHIELD and Bull.

Jesse Bradford as Cliff

Jesse Bradford Now

Bring It On [10]'s leading man has had a less high-profile career than his female costars. Immediately following the film's release, he was cast in a handful of major films, such as 2002's Clockstoppers, and in the TV series The West Wing. More recently, he's had guest and recurring roles on television.

Gabrielle Union as Isis

Gabrielle Union Now

The other superstar to come out of Bring It On [11], Gabrielle Union [12] has not slowed down in years. She's worked steadily in both television and film, from the Think Like a Man films to recurring roles on Ugly Betty and Flashforward. In 2013, she became the star of the TV series Being Mary Jane, which earned her serious critical acclaim. Union married basketball star Dwyane Wade in 2014; the couple welcomed a daughter in November 2018.

Clare Kramer as Courtney

Clare Kramer Now

Kramer went straight from the teen-queen Bring It On [13] to another teen-driven series: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, on which she played the villainous Glory. Her acting career has slowed since then, although she still appears in guest roles now and then; instead, she has turned to producing more. Kramer is married and has three children.
