Britney Spears Tribute at VMAs 2011

Watch the Britney Spears Music Video Tribute at the VMAs

Though VMA staple Britney Spears didn't perform this year, she did land on the stage a couple times when she took home best pop video, and more significantly, the Video Vanguard award. The pop star received the big honor for her years of memorable music videos, and to drive the point home, MTV trotted out a squad of Britney look-alikes to rock the looks of her videos and dance while a montage of them played in the background. Watch it now!

aww, Kim KarTRASHIAN is a little jealous b/c they can't ever honor her...a man peeing into a bowl of jell-o wouldn't be that entertaining

This should have been more thought out. I also didn't like how CaCa talked over her most of the time. Disrespectful.

The performance was short and sweet and definitely hit a lot of her career highlights, but I wish the tribute would've been a bit longer.

That was awesome. I loved the Britney impersonators. It just goes to remind you of all of Britney's memorable moments. She's really a VMA staple---and she's not even 30!

The kids (or were they really short dancers?) creeped me out.
