If you weren't already excited about the season six premiere of Brooklyn Nine-Nine [1], these trailers will definitely do the trick. The NBC comedy, which originally aired on Fox [2], will return to the small screen on Jan. 10 [3] courtesy of NBC, and the show has finally released a few trailers to get their fans excited. In them, Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg [4]) finally gets to live out his Die Hard fantasy as the cast reenacts the famous rooftop escape scene from the 1988 Christmas-action flick [5] (don't @ me, it is a Christmas movie).
There's lots of dramatic phrasing, repelling off buildings, and a leap off a rooftop mid-explosion that would definitely not work in real life, so we don't recommend trying it at home. While the fantasy is the same in each video, they end on a different joke gag so both are definitely worth the watch. Check them out ahead and get ready for another season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine in the new year!
