So the nominees are out and I am beyond excited that Jim Parsons was nominated. He is hilarious as Dr. Sheldon Cooper and after 2 seasons I think it is awesome. I am also excited for Jon Hamm and Mad Men because I love that show. Can't wait for that to return. I might actually watch the Emmy's this year. I wish for Emmy love for True Blood, that is a great show.

Jim Parsons, John Krasinski and Michael Emerson.

If Michael Emerson is not at least nominated for his performance on LOST I'll be really heartbroken. If anyone deserves to win, it is him. I also hope that Pushing Daisies gets some love. Otherwise I agree with some of the other posters...Zachary Levi for Chuck, NPH, lots of LOST nominations :).

Neil Patrick Harris, for the win!! Also, Lost, Josh Holloway, Michael Emerson (to win...I just want Sawyer to get his much-deserved nod), Aaron Paul, either Ryan Kwanten or Nelsan Ellis. Waaaayyyy too many supporting players, I know. So alas, I'm prepared to be disappointed :)

My Lost hopes for the Emmy's include Evangeline Lilly for her Kate-centric episode which happened to be the only decent, even excellent, Kate-centric episode in the series so far. I also hope Josh Holloway picks up a nom for his work in the finale. It's a long shot for him, but he was really one of the outstanding highlights in an episode full of highlights. The show should also pick up a writing and directing nom for Follow the Leader, which was a beautifully constructed episode. It was structured with total clarity in a season that was sometimes temporally confusing, and every scene was successively intriguing. It really brought the whole of season five together for me and provided the perfect segue to the finale. I'd love to see a best drama nomination for both Lost and True Blood. True Blood is absolutely incredible, and the ratings show it. The entire cast is great, the writing is superb, the direction effective, but I dare say this second season is shaping up to be even better. As unreal and caricatured as the characters are, and the show sensationalist, there's a charm and a truth behind those superimposed characters and accents. The show creates for itself a deep cultural relevance that transcends the fantastic and all the deceptively shallow violence and eroticism. It should also be interesting to see whether Mad Men, Damages and 30 Rock will receive praise equivalent to last year. It would also be nice is Kal Penn got some recognition for his portrayal of Kutner, who was really the only intriguing new character on House. Again, it may be doubtful but his rat piss deduction was incredible!

I agree with those that say Connie Britton and Kyle Chandler. They are so deserving of an Emmy nod. I would also love to see some nominations for True Blood.

Without a doubt, Connie Britton and Kyle Chandler for FNL. I also think Jim Parsons from The Big Bang Theory really deserves a nod.

Connie Britton and Kyle Chandler deserve top honors for Friday Night Lights. My hopes are with them, FNL, Mad Men and Grey Gardens.

I hope Ryan Kwanten (Jason) and Nelsan Ellis (Lafayette) from True Blood get Best Supporting Actor nominations. They're both so good and so dedicated to playing their characters 100%. I also hope Vanessa Williams gets a nomination for Ugly Betty because she impresses me every episode!

I'm so wary of pinning my hopes onto my favorites (Generation Kill, BSG, Friday Night Lights, Breaking Bad, True Blood) because the Emmys, as they do every year, will disappoint me.

I really only care about HBO's Grey Gardens. I hope for a miracle that Drew and Jessica both get nominated in their Best Actress category. And of course that Grey Gardens itself sees many other nominations as well! I just watched it again last night, cried again, and was so moved. It's an A+ all around!
