The networks are on a tear! ABC has canceled four shows [1], The Following is done on Fox [2], and NBC is getting rid of five series [3]. Now, CBS has announced it's canceling freshman comedies Battle Creek and The McCarthys [4]. Neither show pulled in good numbers, but at least Battle Creek, created by Breaking Bad's Vince Gilligan, was a hit with critics. What a bummer.
