The series tied up nicely, flashing into the future and showing where the former Pawnee Parks and Recreation Department members end up. The cast appeared on Late Night With Seth Meyers following the finale episode, and aside from being generally adorable together, they offered some interesting insights. For one, Rhetta actually pitched that Donna should hook up with Joe Manganiello in the future. Chris Pratt had the best suggestion, saying that he wanted the credits to explain how every character dies, à la Six Feet Under. "April died of a broken heart," he said.
