Clint Eastwood fans, clear off your DVD shelf — a 35-film box set of the actor-director's films, Clint Eastwood: 35 Films, 35 Years at Warner Bros., is due in February.
Eastwood is a Hollywood fixture who's certainly deserving of his own box set; in addition to the classic films like Dirty Harry that he's starred in, he's also directed a few recent Oscar winners. I could see myself owning these discs, but it also has me thinking about what other actor or director's career is worthy of a box set — and my ownership.
I'd love a full collection of Woody Allen movies, and I think it would be great to have a set of Tom Hanks films — the prolific actor has a diverse combo of comedies and dramas. Your turn — which actor or filmmaker's box set would you want to add to your DVD collection?
