Friday Night Lights [2] will always hold a special place in our hearts, thanks in no small part to its leads, Connie Britton and Kyle Chandler. We're constantly wondering what the cast is up to now [3], and we got our answer on Sunday night: they're at the Emmys! Chandler was nominated for his role on Bloodline (he lost to Rami Malek [4]) and Britton was there repping for The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story. The two managed to sneak a picture, and yes, our hearts have grown three sizes.

Earlier that day, Britton had posted a tribute to Chandler for his birthday [5] via Instagram: "Happy belated birthday to my ex tv husband Kyle Chandler! You'll always be Coach to me. Wishing you birthday trophies tonight. #Emmys #cleareyesfullhearts." Awww!
