USA has canceled Covert Affairs [1], its spy drama starring Piper Perabo. The fifth season wrapped up in December with a few cliff-hangers, so fans probably aren't too pleased to hear that those loose ends won't be tied up any time soon. The show was earning its lowest ratings ever in its final season, averaging about a fifth of the viewers it had during its peak. Costar Peter Gallagher confirmed the news, tweeting [2], "Thanks to all for a great run on #CovertAffairs. I'll miss those ops covert and otherwise and you. See you on the next one!"
