Do You Seek Out Lighter Movies in the Springtime?

As the weather begins to warm up and you can ditch the heavy coats and breathe a little more easily, do you find yourself gravitating toward different movies than those you sought out during the long Winter months? Or is a movie a movie, no matter what the season?

I can only do light movies and comedies. Everything I watch has to have a happy ending and be very predictable. I am very daft at predicting movies so I need something simple, and I am ultra sensitive so I cant watch anything upsetting at all!

nah - my movie preferences don't change based on season. i feel like in the spring there are a lot more films that seem fluffier - aside from the CRAZY horror ones - but i still see what i would always see.

No I usually don't factor in the seasons when I watch movies. But then again the seasons are pretty similar in the Bay Area...there isn't any major changes like other states and countries.

Definitely not! I HATE most spring and basically all summer movies. Because that's when they get to be be just crap... action movies, sequels, comic-book stories, love stories, etc. The holiday season(like November!) is known to have the best movies. Seriously. I remember when I was a kid, we went to the movies for my birthday and there were so many great movies to choose from in November, but my friend's b-day who is in March, had very few good movies, the rest were just crappy feel-good movies with very little substance and true art.

Nope. I will always be up for a good horror movie no matter the season. :)

I prefer lighter movies most of the time anyway, regardless of the season.

I said "no." Springtime doesn't have any impact on my movie choices. However, I only watch holiday movies over the holidays, so maybe I should have said, "yes."

Nope, I will watch any type of movie as long as it's good for any season.

I think it definitely depends. If their are a ton of great romance or comedy movies out then yeah. But looking at my home collection I dont think it changes.

Mostly movies I like don't come out in the Spring, so I can't really say.
