Read on to scratch your heads with us, and remember, there are spoilers ahead.

How will Arya survive the wrath of the Faceless Men?
HBO

How will Arya survive the wrath of the Faceless Men?

Just when Arya seemingly has her ticket back to Westeros and away from assassin life, the Waif throws a wrench in her plans — or should we say a knife? Arya manages to escape from the brutal attack, but unfortunately not unharmed. Seriously, how is she still alive after getting stabbed in the stomach several times? And why isn't anyone rushing to her aid as she helplessly wanders the crowded Braavos streets?! There are some interesting theories already brewing.

02
Is a Clegane vs. Clegane showdown happening?
HBO

Is a Clegane vs. Clegane showdown happening?

For anyone who hasn't been closely following fan theories for both the show and the books, Cleganebowl is a popular one that predicts Sandor Clegane, aka the Hound, will be chosen as the Faith's champion against his brother Gregor, aka the Mountain, during Cersei's trial by combat. Many fans of the Hound particularly love this theory because it could mean he'll get revenge on his brother, who held his face into a fire when they were children and has committed numerous war crimes. Now that the Hound's been reintroduced, could the brothers actually be facing off?

03
What is Margaery's plan?
HBO

What is Margaery's plan?

Margaery convincingly goes along with Tommen and the High Sparrow's alliance, but given her manipulative track record, it's no surprise that she has actually been putting up a front. Now that she's secretly let Lady Olenna know that her allegiance still lies with the Tyrells, what will Margaery do next? Could she be plotting to eradicate the Faith herself?

04
Will Daenerys finally make it to Westeros?
HBO

Will Daenerys finally make it to Westeros?

Traveling to Westeros to take the Iron Throne has been Daenerys's plan from the beginning. She's made progress since then — her dragons are huge, she's conquered cities and gained the respect of their citizens, and she has an army of Unsullied on her side. And while she's making grand speeches about her plan and proving her advantages, such as being fireproof, she still hasn't crossed the Narrow Sea. Luckily, Yara and Theon are keen on teaming up with her in the hopes of removing their uncle, Euron, from power over the Iron Islands. They're traveling to meet her with ships and an army. Is this Daenerys's chance to finally make it to Westeros?

05
Will Lady Stoneheart rise?
HBO

Will Lady Stoneheart rise?

One of the most highly anticipated storylines from the books still hasn't happened, and fans are still waiting with bated breath. Sometimes the show really seems like it's going there. For instance, the Brotherhood Without Banners, dabblers in resurrection magic and therefore key players in Lady Stoneheart's existence, have reappeared with a more vengeful twinge. Could this lead to the fan favorite's introduction?

06
Who is Jon Snow's mother?
HBO

Who is Jon Snow's mother?

We're often reminded that although he grew up with nobility in Winterfell, Jon Snow is not actually a Stark. Rather, he's a Snow, one of Ned Stark's bastards. Thus far, the identity of his mother hasn't been revealed. But while we're at it, who is Jon's father? Sure, everyone says it's Ned, but an extremely popular fan theory suggests otherwise. Several events this season have given that theory even more credibility, and it could very well prove true by the end of the season. If it doesn't, then we're still left wondering: what's Jon's true lineage?

07
Will we see what happens at the Tower of Joy?
HBO

Will we see what happens at the Tower of Joy?

Thanks to Bran honing in on his greensight, we've been treated to quite a few preshow flashbacks. One in particular deals with Bran seeing a younger version of his father fighting outside the Tower of Joy — but it stops short of exploring what actually happens in the tower. Book readers already know what goes down, but because the show has deviated from the books, who knows what will actually play out on screen? And since Bran is busy with the White Walkers and reuniting with his Uncle Benjen, it's unclear when we'll see another Tower of Joy flashback.

08
Is Rickon OK?
HBO

Is Rickon OK?

Earlier in the season, Smalljon Umber comes to Ramsay with gifts in the form of Rickon Stark and wildling Osha. Though Osha meets an untimely demise while trying to kill Ramsay, Rickon hasn't appeared on the show since arriving at Winterfell. What's he up to? Ramsay wrote to Sansa and Jon, saying that Rickon is in his dungeon and that if Sansa doesn't return, he'll die by Ramsay's hounds. Maybe it's wishful thinking, but hopefully he's planning some serious revenge instead of experiencing anything heinous.

09
When will Ramsay finally die?
HBO

When will Ramsay finally die?

He's going to die, right? With all the horrific and unforgivable things he's done since his introduction in season three, he's easily risen to the ranks of worst character ever. Game of Thrones is all about justice and revenge, so should he meet his end, it'll be a long time coming.

10
Will we see any more Stark reunions?
HBO

Will we see any more Stark reunions?

This season gave us a rare genuinely happy moment when, after six whole seasons apart, Sansa met up with Jon at Castle Black. We've had a few "almost" reunions before it — remember when Arya arrives at House Tully right after the Red Wedding goes down, or when she and the Hound are briefly at the Eyrie while Sansa is there? With Rickon in dire circumstances in Winterfell, Jon and Sansa trying to take back their home, and Arya planning to head back to Westeros, could more of the Stark siblings run into each other?

11
What happens to Loras?
HBO

What happens to Loras?

Loras has only shown up in one scene this season, during which he is wasting away in a jail cell before the Crown-Faith alliance. Since the actor, Finn Jones, has booked the lead role on another show, Loras's fate is admittedly murky. But now that Margaery has proved that she's simply messing with the Sparrows, will she reunite with her brother?

12
Are we ever going to see the Sand Snakes in Dorne again?
HBO

Are we ever going to see the Sand Snakes in Dorne again?

In the season premiere, the last we saw of Dorne, Ellaria stages a coup, and she and the three eldest Sand Snakes murder Martells left and right. Although she previously succeeds in poisoning Cersei and Jaime's daughter Myrcella, Ellaria still seems hellbent on getting revenge on the Lannisters for the death of Oberyn Martell. Will she and the Sand Snakes pop up again to further complicate things in King's Landing?

13
How are things in Mereen?
HBO

How are things in Mereen?

After Daenerys leaves Mereen in season five, Tyrion and Varys have been holding the city together. Or, at least, they've been trying to as they hunt down the Sons of the Harpy and strike deals regarding the end of slavery. The last time we visit Mereen back in episode five, Kinvara, a Red Priestess, agrees to assist them in their plight. Will we see the effects of magic on the city?

14
Where is Nymeria?
HBO

Where is Nymeria?

Season six has unfortunately seen the deaths of not one but two direwolves — Rickon's Shaggydog and Bran's Summer. Sansa's Lady dies way back in season one, and Robb's Grey Wind in season three. Ghost continues to loyally stick by Jon's side, but what about the other maybe-living direwolf? Arya sends Nymeria off when, after the direwolf bites Joffrey's arm to protect her owner, she fears for her life. Will they ever reunite? It's just too sad seeing all the direwolves die!

15
Is Gendry still rowing that boat?
HBO

Is Gendry still rowing that boat?

Remember Gendry? Back in the first three seasons, he is smithing weapons and hanging out with Arya. As a bastard of previous king Robert Baratheon, it seemed like he'd have a big storyline ahead. Melisandre even uses him for a weird ritual involving dumping leeches all over his body. But then Ser Davos shoos him away for his own safety and sticks him in a rowboat, and we haven't seen him since. Will we ever see him again? After all, with Shireen and Stannis both dying in season five, no one in Westeros other than Gendry is known to have Baratheon blood. Plus, isn't he tired from all that rowing?

16
Can Lyanna Mormont just take the Iron Throne already?
HBO

Can Lyanna Mormont just take the Iron Throne already?

Seriously, how amazing is Lady Mormont? Despite being a young girl seemingly unfit to lead a house, she's proven herself to be very tactical, very intelligent, and a force to be reckoned with. Can we see more of her, please?
