If you count Single White Female and Fatal Attraction as some of your favorite movies, you might just love the trailer for The Gift. Joel Edgerton stars as Gordo, a seemingly awkward man who "randomly" runs into Simon (Jason Bateman [1]), an old high school peer. Soon, Simon and his wife (Rebecca Hall [2]) start getting presents delivered to their doorstep. It starts off innocently enough, but things get really creepy really fast. It becomes apparent that Simon is hiding something from his past — something that he hoped would never come back to haunt him. Dun dun duuun! Edgerton wrote and directed the film, which makes it all the more interesting. The movie opens on July 31, along with a ton of other exciting Summer releases [3], and you can watch the trailer below.
