@bloquacious  @supertramp I also agree that it was surprising, and I particularly liked Adam Driver's acting, especially in the Crackcident episode where he's yelling at Hannah "You don't want to know me!"

As a “real Hannah”, I never expected the show to be factually accurate, but I did hope for more emotional realism. Check out my Dear John Letter for Lena Dunham:http://janetmackenziesmith.com/2012/06/14/dear-john-letter-for-lena-dunham/

I was little lost with the whole Hannah is being selfish and thinking of herself story line. I thought at times they were all self-absorbed with their own issues.

@supertramp Agreed.  Who knew that he was in AA or that writes and performs?  And who knew that he was capable of being hurt by a female?  That was a welcome surprise that he really was human and just not a FWB and I use friend loosely.

I think you forgot the part where we all find out that Adam is indeed human, and capable of having feelings.  It wasn't per se a "moment" as it was great character development but I for one was very surprised.
