The Glee Project Premieres Sunday, June 12 on the Oxygen Network

Are You Going to Watch The Glee Project?

If you're feeling Glee withdrawals since the second season wrapped up last month, then I have the antidote to relieve you of your symptoms: The Glee Project. Oxygen's new reality series, which kicks off tonight, is a singing competition with the goal of finding a new talent for Glee. Hopeful contestants will vie for a seven-episode guest spot on the Fox series during the next season.

I have to admit that I'm missing my McKinley High fix, and even though it's not the same thing, I am pretty interested in seeing the process of picking a new performer for the show. I also like that there is an emphasis on diversity since it's a theme of the club on Glee. Oh, and some of the Fox show's stars are due to stop by (hello, Darren Criss) and lend some advice. So, let me know — are you going to check out The Glee Project?
