The trailer for The Gunman, the big-screen adaptation of the bestselling novel The Prone Gunman [1] by Jean-Patrick Manchette, has arrived. Sean Penn [2] plays Jim, an assassin who decides he wants out of the business, but his organization isn't letting him go just like that. His big, bad boss (Javier Bardem [3]) is pissed, and war between the two ensues. Things get real when Jim's girlfriend (Jasmine Trinca) is kidnapped and he has to go into full-on Liam Neeson mode. The film's director, Pierre Morel, also directed Taken, so the parallel isn't too far-fetched.
