Holy Jingle Bells! 40 New Christmas Movies Are Coming to the Hallmark Channel This Year

Grab a warm cup of cocoa, and get ready to celebrate the holidays a little sooner than expected, because Hallmark's official Countdown to Christmas kicks off on Oct. 25! Entertainment Weekly revealed that the television network will break its annual Countdown to Christmas record by debuting 40 new Christmas TV movies in 2019, and we are so ready to binge them all.

Since Hallmark has more Christmas movies lined up this year than ever before, we're expecting to see a whole sleighful of familiar faces to count us down for the holidays. One of the the upcoming films, A Christmas Love Story, stars Kristin Chenoweth as a New York City youth choir director named Katherine who finds love and romance along her journey to put together the perfect title song for her Christmas Eve show.

We would expect nothing less from the Hallmark Channel's 10th anniversary than a record-breaking lineup of movies — 24 of which will air on the Hallmark Channel and 16 of which will debut on Hallmark's sister network, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. See the full schedule ahead:
