In the wake of Carrie Fisher's heartbreaking death [1] this week, it seems Hollywood is deep in mourning. Almost immediately, reactions began pouring in from scores of celebrities [2] and former Star Wars costars [3], but perhaps the most heartbreaking words came from Fisher's old flame Harrison Ford [4]. In a new official statement [5], the actor said, "Carrie was one-of-a-kind . . . brilliant, original. Funny and emotionally fearless. She lived her life bravely . . . My thoughts are with her daughter Billie, her Mother Debbie, her brother Todd, and her many friends. We will all miss her." Ford had previously offered words of love and support [6] after Fisher suffered a heart attack [7] just before Christmas. The two last rejoined on screen for Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens.
