Your Guide to All the Wonderful "Heroes" Who Get Made Over in Queer Eye Season 3

Queer Eye's third season is on the way, which means it's time to emotionally prepare yourself for more tear-jerking confessions, jaw-dropping transformations, and a whole lot of discussion about the importance of SPF in your daily self-care routine. But in case you can't wait for season three's March 15 release date, Netflix has something to keep you busy: a sneak peek at all of the wonderful "heroes" (aka what they call the people getting made over each week) who spend time with the Fab Five in every episode. Watch the video above, and then take a look at the streaming giant's official descriptions of each of them, ahead!

Jody Castellucci, Age 49

In the first episode, titled "From Hunter to Huntee," we'll meet this 49-year-old prison guard from Kansas who has always felt like "one of the boys." According to Netflix, she's "a camo-clad goddess who hunts and plants her own food," but "as confident as she is on the outside, she doesn't feel this way on the inside."

Joey Greene, Age 47

In episode two, "Lost Boy," prepare to meet Joey Greene, who's a Program Director at Camp Wildwood. Despite his recent promotion, his outward appearance isn't conveying confidence or professionalism, which the Fab Five hope to help him with. Joey is also the father of a 13-year-old son, Isaac, who is staying with his father over the Summer, and gets to see his dad transform "from a scruffy, meek, Peter Pan to a well-groomed, confident leader."

03
Mary and Deborah Jones, Ages 58 and 61
Netflix

Are you ready for Queer Eye's first duo?! The pair — who go by Shorty and Little — are pitmasters who grew up working alongside their father at Jones Bar-B-Q in Kansas City. Now they own the place themselves, but both their restaurant and their lives need some love. "Mary and Deborah have always had big dreams to expand their business and market their barbeque sauce, but the daily grind has left little time for anything but work," Netflix says. "The Fab Five get in the kitchen with the Jones sisters and encourage them to ease of the daily grind long enough to see the potential of building on their father's legacy."

04
Robert Hitchcock, Age 34
Netflix

In episode four, we meet Robert, "an outgoing and charming psychiatric nurse who is about to be married to his longtime partner, Jamie." While he's known for his boisterous personality and bushy beard, he uses both to disguise insecurity and fears about the future. "With his wedding a week away, the Fab Five give Robert a long, hard look in the mirror. They help him finally see what they see — a charming, successful, and handsome groom with a devoted family who loves him dearly."

05
Jess Guilbeaux, Age 23
Netflix

Jess Guilbeaux, Age 23

In "Black Girl Magic," the gang comes together to help Jess, whose life has been an emotional roller coaster ever since her religious adoptive family disowned her at 16 when she came out as a lesbian. "She bounced around on couches and tried to put herself through college," Netflix's description of her episode reads. "This dream is on hold as she barely gets by on her salary as a waitress. Jess keeps her vulnerable side at bay because she doesn't trust that people won't hurt her." Luckily, the Fab Five not only upgrade her outward appearance, but also help her connect to her biological sister and "embrace her chosen family." Aww!

Rob Elrod, Age 42
Netflix

We can already tell that episode six is going to be a doozy. In it we'll meet Rob, "an easy-going, sweet guy" who lost his wife Allison to cancer, leaving him to raise their two boys. With the help of Antoni, Karamo, Tan, Bobby, and Jonathan, Rob will hopefully be able to "move into his new home and see the possibilities for his future," while realizing that "he doesn't have to let go of Allison's memory to move forward."

07
Thomas Diggs, Age 21
Netflix

Thomas needs help growing up in "Sloth to Slay," which sees the 21-year-old dealing with the grief of losing his mother as a preteen, and his inability to go out and socialize. Instead, the computer programmer "stays hidden away in his room playing computer games" because, as his sister says, he's "too afraid to show his true self to anyone else."

08
Tony Blanco, 29
Netflix

Tony Blanco, 29

Queer Eye not only makes over their first duo and their first gay woman in season three, but also their first expectant dad! In the last episode of the season, Tony is struggling to prepare for the arrival of his newborn, since he's "still living like a frat guy in a dirty, unkempt house . . . [with] plenty of dishes in the sink and piles of stuff everywhere." With his girlfriend, Bri, due any minute, the Fab Five "remind Tony of the man and father he can be and that he can ask for help when he's in over his head."
