Sure, there are a lot of dark elements in the Hunger Games [1] trilogy, but leave it to Jimmy Kimmel to somehow put a romantic-comedy spin on the new Mockingjay — Part 1 trailer [2]. Intense GIFs of the trailer [3] show some of the more gloomy, ominous moments from the upcoming film, but Kimmel's take lightens things up a bit. Thanks to the song "My Boyfriend's Back," a clever voice-over, and some creative editing, the trailer kind of, sort of passes for a rom-com.
