Jared Leto Lines Up His First Major Role Since Dallas Buyers Club

Jared Leto [1] is making moves to replace Will Smith [2] in a futuristic thriller, Anna Kendrick [3] is lending her voice to a new animated film, Alison Brie [4] signed on for a new comedy, and two Game of Thrones alums are taking on the big screen. Take a look at the biggest casting news out of Hollywood this week, and get excited about where you'll see your favorite stars next!

Anna Kendrick will lead the voice cast of Trolls [5], as an upbeat princess named Poppy.

Jackie Chan, John Cusack [6], and Adrien Brody joined Dragon Blade [7], a historical epic about Roman soldiers in China.

Teresa Palmer will star in Point Break [8], the remake of the 1991 surfing/crime movie. She'll play the female lead opposite star Luke Bracey, who is taking over Keanu Reeves [9]'s part.

Emilia Clarke will star in Voice From the Stone [10], an indie thriller set in the 1950s.

In other Game of Thrones news, Jason Momoa will play Aquaman [11] in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, alongside Ben Affleck [12] as Batman and Henry Cavill as Superman.

Albert Brooks, Hannibal Buress, Lake Bell, Bobby Moynihan, and Ellie Kemper joined the voice cast of an untitled "pets" project [13], along with Louis C.K. and Kevin Hart.

Sienna Miller joined Chef [14], which stars her American Sniper costar Bradley Cooper [15].

Jared Leto is in talks to star in Brilliance [16], a futuristic thriller that Will Smith [17] dropped out of earlier this year. Noomi Rapace is also attached as the female lead.

Kevin Costner will star in Criminal [18], about a prisoner who agrees to be part of an experiment that puts the brain of a murdered field agent into his head.

Ewan McGregor will star in American Pastoral [19], the adaptation of Philip Roth's Pulitzer Prize-winning 1997 novel.

Mamie Gummer may star with her mother, Meryl Streep [20], in Ricki and the Flash, about an aging rock star (Streep) who wants to reunite with her family. Kevin Kline is also in talks to join.

William H. Macy joined Blood Father [21] opposite Mel Gibson [22].

Alison Brie will star in How to Be Single [23], alongside Lily Collins.
