One of the most affecting parts of Mockingjay — Part 1 [1] is when Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence [2]) sings the haunting song "The Hanging Tree" while out in the field surveying the damage the Capitol has caused. It's been well documented that Lawrence wasn't psyched about singing [3], but anyone who has seen the movie can attest that she sounds pretty fantastic.
