Joey King Breaks Down in Tears Over First Emmy Nomination — and FaceTimes Patricia Arquette!

Joey King had the sweetest reaction after finding out she's nominated for an Emmy for her role as Gypsy Rose Blanchard in The Act. She immediately broke down in tears upon hearing her name during the announcement on Tuesday morning, and she called it "the best moment in the world."

King shared a video of her emotional response on Instagram and wrote, "My work on The Act was the most fulfilling and challenging work I've gotten to do as an actress thus far. To be nominated for an Emmy in a category with such INCREDIBLE nominees by my side, especially Patricia, is the most surreal feeling. I haven't stopped crying. Gettin to call Patricia right after and share this moment with her is something I'll never forget."

Yep, that's correct — she FaceTimed Patricia Arquette immediately after hearing the news (and calling her mom), which makes her reaction that much more heartwarming. An ever-so-chill Arquette answered the phone with a smile and a casual demeanor as usual (this is 19-year-old King's first Emmy nomination, but it certainly isn't Oscar-winner Arquette's first rodeo). "I'm so excited we're nominated together," King said through tears. Arquette responded, "I know, we're gonna have fun!" See the costars' sweet exchanges ahead.
