Jon Cryer Re-Created Duckie's Famous Pretty in Pink Dance Sequence

Apr 15 2015 - 9:05am

In 1986, the world was introduced to a character named Duckie. Created by John Hughes and played by Jon Cryer in the teen dramedy Pretty in Pink, Duckie has a lot of great scenes, but there's one particularly timeless one. He enters into a record store where his friend Andie (Molly Ringwald) works and performs a brilliant dance to Otis Redding's 1966 song "Try a Little Tenderness." Six months after he dressed up like Duckie for Two and a Half Men's Halloween episode [1], Cryer has done it again, and this time, he tried a little tenderness. Cryer and James Corden both donned Duckie's duds for a skit on The Late Late Show, proving that double the Duckie means double the fun. Take a look at their version of the scene, plus the original, below!
