Kelsea Ballerini is embracing her flaws and insecurities in her "Homecoming Queen" music video. As the country star tearfully sings about "showing what's under your skin," she begins to shed her fake eyelashes and flashy ensemble to reveal her true, authentic self. Needless to say, fans are getting pretty emotional over the video, especially when Ballerini breaks down in tears in her dressing room.

It seems like Ballerini's latest single is the first of many sad songs. During an interview with The Tennessean, Ballerini, who is happily married to singer Morgan Evans, revealed that her new album will include even more heartbreaking songs [1] about past relationships. "I think now that I'm married, it gives me such a perspective on the other relationships that failed me," she said. "I'm writing the most heartbreaking songs I've ever written because I understand what went wrong before now. I think the older I get . . . the more confident I feel about writing that kind of stuff. I write my songs, and I play guitar, and I write about what I'm going through. I'm just really excited to clean the slate again."
