If you've missed seeing Kristen Wiig on the small screen, help is on the way. The Saturday Night Live [1] alum is executive producing and starring in a 10-episode comedy series [2] for Apple. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show is "inspired by Curtis Sittenfeld's upcoming short-story collection You Think It, I'll Say It" and will be produced by Reese Witherspoon's multimedia brand, Hello Sunshine [3]. It's the third Apple series with Witherspoon at the helm, joining the untitled morning show drama [4] that she will star in alongside Octavia Spencer and Jennifer Aniston [5].

Witherspoon shared her excitement about the project [7] in an Instagram post on Wednesday and also revealed that she'd be making a cameo. "Total dream come true 💫 to be working with Kristen Wiig on a comedy for @Apple," she wrote. ". . .And there might be a special guest appearance by someone you know 🙋🏼 because #FOMO is real!" The new Apple series marked Wiig's first time back on the small screen since leaving SNL after seven seasons in 2012. Since then, she's embarked on a movie career, starring in films like Bridesmaids, Ghostbusters, and most recently, Downsizing. We can't wait for Wiig's return!
