It's been a long, hot Summer, and that's not even just in referral to the weather — this season's movies have been heating up the theaters for months now. We've already had multiple Marvel movies come out and one film break the record for biggest opening weekend of all time [1], so it seems like the Summer blockbusters are starting to peter out. Wrong! There are still lots of new movies that have yet to come out this Summer, so we're giving you the guide for what else you still have to look forward to as the season winds down.
The Gift
- Who's starring: Joel Edgerton, Jason Bateman [2], and Rebecca Hall [3]
- Why you should be interested: Not only does Edgerton play an unhinged classmate from Bateman's character's past in this thriller, but this is also the directorial debut of Australian star Edgerton.

- Who's starring: Meryl Streep [6], Sebastian Stan, and Kevin Kline
- Why you should be interested: One word: Meryl. OK, fine — six words: Meryl Streep as a rock star.

- Who's starring: Henry Cavill, Armie Hammer, and Alicia Vikander
- Why you should be interested: Cavill out of his Superman suit? With Hammer? It's like an explosion of sexy. But seriously, this is our chance to see what else Cavill can do.

She's Funny That Way
- Who's starring: Imogen Poots, Owen Wilson [9], and Jennifer Aniston [10]
- Why you should be interested: Legendary director Peter Bogdanovich is behind this screwball comedy, which doesn't look like highbrow comedy as much as it just looks like a ton of fun.

- Why you should be interested: This is a movie any action junkie needs to see by the sheer amount of stunts in the trailer.

- Why you should be interested: There's so much mystery surrounding the plot of this thriller that we couldn't be more curious, plus we love to see Watson star in literally anything.
