Lorde [1] is following in the footsteps of Taylor Swift [2] and Coldplay by creating an original song for the Hunger Games movies. The young Grammy winner will "pen an original song and curate the soundtrack" for Mockingjay — Part 1 [3], according to the film's Facebook account [4]. "Curating the soundtrack for such a hotly anticipated film was a challenge, but I jumped at the chance," said Lorde. "The cast and story are an inspiration for all musicians participating and, as someone with cinematic leanings, being privy to a different creative process has been a unique experience.
