Add this to the growing list of sequels: Mark Wahlberg is reportedly considering a follow-up to his 2005 film, Four Brothers, appropriately titled — wait for it — Five Brothers.
As you may recall, the first movie revolved around adopted siblings (Wahlberg, Tyrese Gibson, Andre Benjamin, and Garrett Hedlund) as they sought revenge on their mother's death under the guise of an armed robbery. Neither Paramount nor the writers are revealing what might happen in this addition to the story, but Hedlund will most likely be out since his character was killed off in the original.
Hollywood will take any potshot at a movie to turn it into a franchise, but I'm actually surprised by this news. Four Brothers wasn't exactly a blockbuster hit the first go-round, and it received lukewarm reviews — is a sequel the best idea? Wahlberg can do the whole tough-guy routine with his eyes closed, but I'm sure he already has his hands full between his brand-new baby, upcoming show How to Make It in America, and those Entourage movie rumors. Personally, I'd rather see him stick to his other projects.
