Matthew McConaughey [1] is really committing to his new movie. Though it's not the first time he has completely transformed for a role (see: Dallas Buyers Club), he's never quite looked like this. The Oscar winner put on some weight, lost some hair, and got a new set of teeth (through the wonders of the hair and makeup department) to star in Gold, in which he plays a man who goes to the Indonesian jungle in search of, you guessed it, gold. The story is loosely based on the Bre-X mining scandal of 1993 [2]. Bryce Dallas Howard and Édgar Ramírez are also on the set, though they don't look nearly as crazy as McConaughey.
