There was a moment during the filming of Bridesmaids [1] when Maya Rudolph thought to herself, "I love this movie cause it's so fun and it's so special. I don't know if anybody else will like it, but we're having a great time!" Eight years later and the comedy is still often quoted [2], its GIFs frequently used in group texts. In fact, its stars still can't quite shake some of their memorable scenes.
In a recent interview on The Ellen DeGeneres [3] Show, Rudolph reminisced about Bridesmaids with costar Melissa McCarthy, who was guest-hosting the talk show. On the scene she's most often associated with, Rudolph said, "For me, I think I will always be the lady who took a sh*t in the street — and you, you might have molten lava coming out of you for the rest of your life." Don't believe her? Rudolph proceeded to share a recent encounter that took place at a Starbucks, of all places. Watch her tell the story above.
