Melanie Griffith accompanied daughter Dakota Johnson [1] to the Oscars this year, and aside from making an adorable red carpet duo, they gave a pretty awkward interview. ABC's Lara Spencer spoke with the pair before the show, and things seemed to be going fine — until Spencer asked if Griffith had seen Johnson's hit movie, Fifty Shades of Grey. "She's a really good actress," Griffith said. "I don't have to see [the movie] to know how good she is." They continue to talk about it for a while, and the awkwardness just increases. Watch below!
