Before you freak out, this isn't real. Lifetime is not, I repeat, not making a Meryl Streep [1] biopic. However, Funny or Die has made a trailer for a fake Lifetime movie starring Christina Applegate [2] as an overly dramatic Meryl Streep. The trailer cites (terrible) movies that Lifetime has actually made, like Anna Nicole and The Brittany Murphy Story, to set the stage for their best/worst biopic of all time: Meryl. It's everything you want from a Lifetime parody, including Applegate sniffing onions to get that perfect cry.
