Miley Cyrus [1] captivated a star-studded audience at the Women's Cancer Research Fund's Unforgettable Evening Gala on Thursday when she belted out a few of her most emotional hits. After walking the red (well, technically pink) carpet in a pantsuit with her husband, Liam Hemsworth [2], the singer kicked off her heels and took the stage to deliver a powerful rendition of her 2009 hit song "The Climb" [3] in honor of those affected by cancer. She also sang "Nothing Breaks Like a Heart" and covered The Who's "My Generation."
Miley and Liam weren't the only celebrities at the benefit in Beverly Hills, as Gabrielle Union [4], Kate Hudson [5], Goldie Hawn [6], and Sharon Stone [7] were also in attendance. Read on to watch a few clips of a barefoot Miley singing "The Climb," and keep reading to see photos of her and Liam cozying up on the pink carpet.
