Movie Preview: The Invisible

The latest addition to the current surfeit of thrillers is The Invisible, which opens nationwide on Friday. The movie has at least two things going for it: Marcia Gay Harden and Justin Chatwin from "Weeds." But mostly, The Invisble appears to be plagued by red flags: Its original January release date was delayed several times, and director David S. Goyer's most impressive credit to date is Blade: Trinity. Not surprisingly, the trailer looks fairly unthrilling: a teen is rendered invisible until he can solve the mystery of his own death. I will probably be skipping this one, but tell me what you think; watch the trailer when you

I wish I hadn't waisted my time or money... this movie sucked.

i think it looks good. the audiences i have been in when the trailer played liked it. i like movies like this, scary but not slasher. this seems like a "just like heaven" from the male/teen/thriller perspective.

Marcia Gay Harden is one of my favorites, but I'm not sure the movie will be. Like yiddidea, I'll probably wait for the DVD.

There have been a few previews that make this look like a halfway decent thriller, while others look like a Lifetime movie of the week. Probably will wait for DVD on this one.

I might see it depending on what the paper gives it ... it looks a teeny bit intriguing.

Blah, I have seen quite a few ads being pushed on TV the last couple weeks but this one looks pretty lame.
