The fourth movie in the Predator series doesn't just feature a stacked cast (including Sterling K. Directed by Iron Man 3 director Shane Black, the lethal hunters in this latest installment are even smarter and deadlier, as they are genetically modified with DNA from other species. To see a crew of ex-soldiers and a science teacher take on a deadly fleet of predators, check out the trailer.

06
A Simple Favor
Everett Collection

A Simple Favor

If you've been waiting for the next Gone Girl, the wait is almost over — A Simple Favor, a mystery thriller based off the Darcey Bell novel by the same name, looks like the thrill of the season. Starring Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick, it follows a fledgling vlogger who tries to solve the sudden disappearance of her glamorous but unknowable best friend, and — with the same unreliability that makes Gone Girl so addicting — you won't know who to trust until the very end. If you're aren't already captivated, then just watch the trailer.

Release date: Sept. 14

07
White Boy Rick

White Boy Rick

This crime drama is based on a true story, following a young teen named Richard Wershe Jr. (played by Richie Merritt) who becomes an undercover FBI informant in the 1980s. Matthew McConaughey costars as Richard's father, Richard Wershe Sr. Just from the trailer, you can see how awesome the father-son dynamic between these two actors is going to be.

The House With a Clock in Its Walls

Based on the John Bellairs mystery novel, this film tells the story of 10-year-old orphan Lewis, who goes to live with his uncle in a creepy old house and accidentally releases a secret world of witches and warlocks. Cate Blanchett and Jack Black will star alongside Owen Vaccaro, who will play Lewis. Watch the trailer and get ready for some chills and trills (as well as plenty of magic).

The Sisters Brothers

Based on the Patrick deWitt novel of the same name, this movie is about two brothers named Eli and Charlie Sisters who embark on a mission to kill a thieving gold prospector in 1851 Oregon. The dark comedy costars Joaquin Phoenix and John C. Reilly as the scheming hitmen, and Jake Gyllenhaal as Jim Morris, the prospector who has stolen from their boss. Life Itself

We're convinced that Dan Fogelman is just here to make us cry. The This Is Us creator's new film will follow Oscar Isaac and Olivia Wilde in a multigenerational love story spanning both decades and continents, with Antonio Banderas, Mandy Patinkin, Samuel L. Jackson, and Olivia Cooke also appearing. If you didn't catch the trailer's premiere during the season two finale of This Is Us, then you better grab the tissues before watching.

Night School

With Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish costarring in this one, you can expect big laughs and plenty of silliness. Hart will play a successful salesman who unexpectedly finds himself out of a job and with few prospects without his high school diploma, and Haddish will play his steely night-school instructor. The trailer looks so good, you might even be tempted to go back to school — but only if it's alongside Hart and Haddish.

12
Smallfoot
Everett Collection

Smallfoot

This adorable animated film shows what happens when a yeti becomes convinced that the elusive creatures known as "humans" may actually exist. We have a feeling you'll recognize plenty of voices in this one, with characters voiced by Zendaya, Channing Tatum, James Corden, and Gina Rodriguez, among others. After you watch this trailer, you'll be convinced that no accompanying kids are necessary for you to catch this one in theaters.
