In our eyes, Spring begins with the first big movie release in March. Logan [1] has unleashed the wave of blockbusters, and they won't stop coming until Summer's end. We don't want to get too far ahead of ourselves, so let's just focus on the biggest releases of March, April, and May. What's on the horizon? Take a look for yourself!
Logan
- The scoop: This brutally violent X-Men film [3], the last hurrah for Hugh Jackman's Wolverine [4], kicked off 2017's crop of Spring blockbusters. Patrick Stewart is back as Professor X, whom Logan must cart around the country in order to protect a young mutant (Dafne Keen).

Kong: Skull Island
- The scoop: Brie Larson and Tom Hiddleston head up a terrific cast as explorers sent to scout an exotic island, home to the legendary cinematic "monster" King Kong.

Beauty and the Beast
- The scoop: Disney's highly anticipated live-action reboot stars Emma Watson [7] as Belle opposite Dan Stevens/lots of CGI as the Beast. There's a strong cast of voice actors, but the true magic lies in the soundtrack [8].

Power Rangers
- The scoop: If you grew up playing with Power Rangers, you'll be thrilled to see the five crime-busters up on the big screen. Elizabeth Banks is the main draw, playing villain Rita Repulsa [10].

CHiPs
- The scoop: You don't have to be familiar with the '70s source material to get a few laughs out of the trailer for this reboot. Dax Shepard and Michael Peña take over the leads as two goofy California Highway Patrol officers.

Ghost in the Shell
- The scoop: Despite the initial controversy surrounding Scarlett Johansson [13] being cast in a role that could have (and should have) gone to an Asian woman, there's a lot of excitement around this live-action reboot of the popular 1995 anime. Johansson is playing an anatomically flawless cyborg cop who is tasked with investigating a hacker.

The Fate of the Furious
- The scoop: Every time a new Fast and Furious movie rolls around, we think they can't possibly top the action sequences the next time around — then they do. Charlize Theron [15] is playing the villain in The Fate of the Furious, which obviously looks freakin' insane. The new spin? Snowy terrain!

The Circle
- The scoop: It's a big year for Emma Watson [17]! She stars as a new employee at a cult-like tech company run by Tom Hanks [18]. The film is based on the book by Dave Eggers, one of many of 2017's book-to-movie adaptations [19].

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
- The scoop: Chris Pratt and his motley crew of galactic misfits return in the second installment of James Gunn's Marvel series. Peter (Pratt) is searching for his family of origin, and as we see in the trailer, his father is played by Kurt Russell!

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword
- The scoop: Charlie Hunnam [22] is playing the titular role in Guy Ritchie [23]'s retelling of the legend of King Arthur. Do you really need to know more? OK, Jude Law [24] is in it, too.

Snatched
- The scoop: Goldie Hawn [26] and Amy Schumer are playing a mother-daughter duo who bites off way more than they can chew when their exotic vacation takes a dangerous turn. Of course, this opens just in time for Mother's Day [27] weekend!

Alien: Covenant
- The scoop: The details surrounding Alien: Covenant [29] have already convinced us to see the movie opening weekend. Ridley Scott is back as the director, and the cast includes Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, James Franco [30], and Danny McBride. That's a lot of people we're about to watch die terrible deaths by way of aliens.

Everything, Everything
- The scoop: If you're a fan of Nichola Yoon's 2015 YA novel, chances are good that you've been looking forward to this adaptation for a while. Amandla Stenberg (The Hunger Games) is starring as Maddy, a girl who's been trapped indoors her whole life because of her rare disease. She finally gets the chance to live when a daring boy (Nick Robinson) moves in next door.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales
- The scoop: If dead men tell no tales, does that mean Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp [33]) survives the fifth Pirates movie? We're already creeped out by Javier Bardem [34] as the latest sea-faring villain, but at least Orlando Bloom [35] will be back!
