I just LOVED "Wall-E", much to my surprise. It began like a silent movie of old (no real dialog)... then took off in other directions entirely - drama, comedy, sci-fi. With the differences one would think it confusing & nauseating. But it worked. Got it as a gift on Christmas - Great gift, too!

"Milk" was phenomenal; in my opinion, it was the film of the year. I wish it had arrived with more trumpets and fanfare. It highlights a VERY important issue that people are all too willing to push aside. And it was just a well-made movie to boot.

We just saw "Slumdog Millionaire" last night -- enjoyed it thoroughly! Like you Buzz, I felt I knew the characters inside out, and I loved the style of storytelling. It did leave me crying at the end, but I was glad for the dance number to lift me up a little more! Saw a preview for "The Reader" and it definitely looks intriguing as well. Hope to see "Milk" soon!

So happy that you included Young@Heart; it and Milk will forever stick with me. What great films! So looking forward to seeing Slumdog Millionaire and The Reader.
